Steph’s Story
Stephanie was on vacation when she felt something wasn’t right.
While getting ready one day, she noticed a lump. In that quiet moment, she felt a sense of peace she couldn’t fully explain. She believes it was the Holy Spirit preparing her for what was ahead.
A month later, she was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer.
Stephanie went through chemotherapy, surgery, and months of difficult treatments. After a double mastectomy in 2022, doctors believed the cancer was gone. But not long after, it returned, spreading to her ribs and lungs.
During one of the hardest seasons of her life, Stephanie received a Gift of Hope from the Nightbirde Foundation.
Inside were Jane’s writings, music, and words of encouragement. Reading Jane’s reflections reminded Stephanie that she wasn’t alone. Other women had walked this road before her.
Later, the foundation also helped provide financial support for supplements and treatments that were not covered by insurance. That support lifted a significant burden from Stephanie and her family, allowing her to focus on healing.
Through it all, Stephanie continues to hold onto faith, hope, and the belief that God is with her every step of the way.
“I can’t imagine my life without hope.”
Be Part of the Next Story
Hope moves from one woman to another.
Every woman you meet here has a different story.
Different circumstances. Different fears. Different moments where hope felt far away.
But what they share is this:
Someone stepped in.
Through the Nightbirde Foundation, women facing breast cancer receive encouragement, community, and support for treatments that insurance often will not cover.
Because when one woman is lifted up, the impact reaches far beyond her.
It touches her family.
Her children.
Her community.
And it reminds every woman walking this road that she is not alone.
You can help carry that hope forward.
